there is no way in hell that kid is a comic relief character. The priests sure, but the kid is being itself, a complete buffoon ,out of touch with the reality around, he wakes up on a room completely destroyed, they say right in front of him that his sister got kidnapped and yet the STILL acts like there is nothing going on ,wants to go to sleep (to the destroyed room btw and ASKS where is his sister even tho they just told him 20 seconds ago).
It's a braindead character, a souless plot device for lucian to be out of the show for a while and nothing else.
